Recently Launched
National Adoption Month is a annual event, starting in November, in which multiple social and human services agency across the nation direct efforts towards the adoption of children. Millions of dollars and thousands of hours are spent developing campaigns. These campaigns typically include websites, advertising, brochures and even billboards. In previous years, the web presence for the event has been a single page within a massive site. I felt that this type of campaign deserved it's own separate site, with a unique look that would set it apart from the main VDSS website and other agency's sites across the nation.
Utilizing bootstrap, some custom CSS and fancy box, I was able to create the site below. Some of the major features of the site are parallax scroll, to highlight the breath taking imagery, fancy box, for the search feature and video presentations, and smooth scroll transitions.
